Banana Bread Oatmeal
Cook oatmeal according to directions (I used trader joe’s steel cut quick oats..they have a little bit of a nutty flavor to them), once oats have absorbed all the water add in a banana and mash it in the oats. Sprinkle some cinnamon on top and I added some almond milk. Tastes just like banana bread!
I’ve started drinking apple cider vinegar because of all the great health benefits (which you can learn about here) but just mixing it with filtered water like suggested was just too horrible to drink. So I’ve found the perfect recipe that makes it taste just like apple cider:
- 1-1/2 cup cold filtered water
- 1 tbs apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbs juice of choice (I use white grape juice)
- Agave and sprinkle of cinnamon
I drink this twice a day and it really does give me the pick-me-up that I need and I’ve found that it keeps me full longer.
Once it starts getting colder out it would be good to heat up the water so it would be like drinking warm apple cider.
**Never drink apple cider vinegar without diluting it because it will ruin your tooth enamel and burn the tissues in your mouth and throat**
